my grandma gave me her 70-year-old typewriter so if you need a sentence to look really cool and vintage I got you

severance!!!!!

hi it's been 5 years I think you should watch the show ingrid and I made during & about covid lockdown (I promise it is funny and lighthearted in addition to taking it seriously) www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...

My volunteer group went to the kickoff event for a mayoral candidate and we were cheering and yelling like it was a concert when she mentioned expanding the hours of public transit

getting involved in local politics will have you excited over the most mundane stuff. I'm giddy this morning over the potential of a bill passing that would reallocate tourism tax dollars

I hate that I'm incapable of writing scenes for this book without writing the long boring version first. I already know most of this will be cut but I need it to be there

update the slipper and the rose was a Wild movie. I can't say I recommend it but there were a few interesting parts

"We must be protocoligorically correct" these guys love making up words

The music is the sherman brothers so it's VERY mary poppins but only the boring songs like the dad's solo and the one at the bank

Every one of the prince's songs are unhinged in this movie. He and his friend visit the family crypt and sing about how much all the other kings sucked but they're all buried together.

I'm not kidding

Ok I wasn't going to livetweet this movie but we started The Slipper and the Rose and the literal first song is about how the prince wishes severance was real

just watched cendrillon from 1899 which is 6 min long & apparently the first cinderella on film. it has extreme school project energy which I love tbh. weird choice to have a creepy old man taunt her with the clock striking 12 then a bunch of clocks haunt her at her house but ok

We're basically doing the cinderella oscars over here

this is a very funny game because you end up with leonardo da vinci on a list of fairy godmothers.

best stepsister obviously has to go to lucy punch

for example top 5 stepmothers: 1. Lady Tremaine. Too iconic. 2. Anjelica Huston. 3. Jennifer Coolidge. The movie is bad but she's doing the most. 4. Bernadette Peters. 5. Cate Blanchett - again, bad movie but she was Doing Something

ingrid and I are ranking various cinderella movie characters. mostly ingrid is bc I don't really like ranking.

another thing about The Glass Slipper is that the prince has a sad girl fetish and literally says this.

I am also taking recommendations for (good) international cinderella movies

here are more of my (correct) cinderella movie takes. underrated: three nuts for popelka 1973, cindy 1978 correctly rated (as good): ever after, brandy cinderella overrated: disney cinderella 2015, a cinderella story starring hilary duff

if anyone has seen an obscure cinderella adaptation that I should know about please tell me. but keep in mind that there's a good chance I've already seen it

tonight was the glass slipper 1955 and honestly? it kind of slaps. cinderella is a grumpy little gremlin girl with a weird french accent. fairy godmother is just a weird old lady who steals stuff and likes the words "windowsill" and "elbow". there are TWO dream ballets

needed something to come down from watching severance all day so I'm back on my bullshit (cinderella movies)

update we are now caught up on severance

being late to the popular show privilege is we got to jump right into s2

we finished s1 of severance holy shit

fuck hobby lobby 😭😭😭

also, unrelatedly, I am BIG SAD about joanns 😭

we watched 2 episodes of severance in a row (I'M ONLY ON SEASON 1) and it's been 20 minutes and my heart rate is still way up
