Cannot overemphasize how much fun it is for me to just point at one of my cats and say their name to it. Definitely one of my top 10 hobbies.

Everybody was cut & thrusting!

Me: I'm doing to many things, I don't have any open evenings. Also me: I need to get out of the house more. I wonder if there's any day time classes nearby.

If anyone's curious what goes into writing a fencing book, there are almost two hundred messages back and forth between me and my layout guy. This isn't even counting my editor, my photographer, my proofreaders, marketing, or anyone else I've gotten advice from.

Does anyone else notice that their voice gets higher when they speak another language? Anyhow, just had day 1 of learning Italian so that I can try to actually read these sword books in the original.

Quick shoutout to Chicago Public Library for getting me an interlibrary loan in only two weeks for a book that's not even listed in their system. There's one chapter in here to does the legwork of showing how two different approaches intermingle that I didn't want to have to figure out myself.

The more Fabris I absorb, the more respect I gain for Cavendish. Regrettably.
