Still a great fight from Sacramento missing Sabonis and Monk DeRozan and Lavine combined for 55 but it took 48 shots. Way too much iso, Malik hasn’t been great as a PG but his playmaking was definitely missed Nuggets outscored sac by 13 at the line, big split in makes and attempts

That officiating performance ruined a really good game Just a horribly called game both ways

Look, it’s definitely bad in Dallas right now But it’s laughable to even try to compare it to the suffering Sacramento fans have dealt with over the last 20 years

I’m a lebron fan, but doesn’t it go without saying that he’s the first person to reach every point milestone after he passed Kareem?

Feels like the talent level in the league has become so incredible that we start to take things for granted Kevin Durant is 36 and averaging 27 PPG on 53, 40, 82 splits The suns have just been flat out bad but he’s still so so good at basketball

Ah yes Colin Gillespie smoking the clippers defense, just as everyone expected

KAT deserves a lot more MVP consideration because the Knicks offense is awful when he’s not out there

He should still be eligible for end of season awards, but if this turns into a 4 week+ absence it’ll be close

Looks like Zach has found some footing!

There’s a legitimate chance that the Rockets slip into the play-in and I give it more than a 50/50 chance that GSW take the 5 seed by the end of the season

Such bad timing for the mavs and Kyrie. Hope he has a quick recovery Will be so interesting to see what he decides to do this off season.

They never even got a starting center and they already look like contenders, Nico Harrison is public enemy number 1

Good signing for Utah, Springer definitely deserved a roster spot somewhere

Some day after thoughts: -probably the best defense I’ve seen from DeMar all season -Loved seeing the Sac guards take it to the rim over and over again and challenge Sengun, Smith, and Thompson -Not better without Sabonis, but Jonas’ interior defense is much better than Domas’

Big win for the Kings, jump up to 8th and within half a game of the warriors and only one game back from the clippers in the 6 spot

Markelle looks so comfortable I couldn’t be more impressed with how he’s played after so much time off

Thought the Niners would be able to get a little more for Deebo (3rd or even 4th round pick) but I guess they have to be aggressive since they’re already paying Aiyuk $30M

Post was such a good find by GS Fits their scheme so well and was such a low risk pick at 52. It’s almost like you should keep your 2nd round picks if the only other option is cash. I know, crazy thought.

Since De’Aaron Fox was traded: DeRozan: 42 assists to 8 turnovers Monk: 51 assists to 28 turnovers interesting to look at how they’ve each faired as playmakers after Fox was moved. I was really looking forward to giving monk the keys but it just hasn’t worked out well at all.

Walker Kessler was a perfect 10/10 and ended with 25 and 14 Unexpected

One thing I didn’t like at all was that Sac only got to the line 6 times all game while somehow only taking 36 triples Still really clunky on offense

Really liked DeRozan taking on more of a lead guard role and initiating the offense. 8 assists and no turnovers from him tonight Really good game from him in my opinion and right now he might be a better option at point. Just taking care of the ball better than monk

Good win, Utah isn’t good but still a win Seems like Sabonis and Monk are still trying to figure out how to be effective offensively with DeRozan and Lavine on the court at the same time. 6 TOs for them too Keegan seems like he’s starting to figure it out, loved seeing 10 3pt attempts from him

Saw some people making the argument that the kings should sell Sabonis while he’s in demand and I understand where they’re coming from The part that I think we’re missing is he is a really easy to build around because he does so much so well, the Kings have just failed to get the right pieces

If Sacramento is dead set on spamming DHOs they should stick with Domas and Lavine pretty much exclusively for that action. Lavine isn’t a great PnR ball handler but off a DHO he can do what he does best, shoot or attack the hoop Also, Malik and DDR are great in PnR, so let them cook there Win-Win

Dreaming about Keon Ellis getting healthy, getting moved into the starting lineup and Fultz and Monk tearing up every second unit backcourt in the league I’ll keep dreaming

Good news that Keon’s ankle sprain is minor and he might play against the Jazz Personally, I would hold him out and let Fultz get some more run + try to figure out how to hold the line defensively without him against a team that Sac *should* have no problem beating

Kings get another chance to beat up on a bad team tomorrow These kind of games are going to be really important. like G league performances, you don’t immediately jump to the conclusion that the Kings are good if they play great but if they play bad then the worries should continue

Zach reposting Malik saying he hasn’t hit any threes with the Kings after last night 😂 At least the vibes seem good

Really love the new bench, even when they’re not scoring a ton LaRavia, Jonas, and Fultz have an impact. Good to see Lyles bounce back too

Thought Sabonis was a little more involved and even though be didn’t have a great game it still was a step in the right direction He makes everyone so much better when he’s in control of the offense and everyone plays off of him

Doug Christie bringing up a good point about the Kings just running dribble handoffs to run them without any goal in mind

I think I like Zach Lavine a lot more when he’s just shooting and cutting, what an all time efficient game

Not great

So you’re telling me there’s a chance

Please do yourself a favor and go look at Kevin Love’s last instagram post Just an incredible run since before the trade deadline

Josh Hart makes nearly $50K per day This is the same as fining someone who makes $80K a year, roughly $8 dollars Not sure how that’s going to help change behaviors like this that absolutely need to be dealt with

Both Sac and Phx went all in on offense while apparently deciding that the other side of the ball doesn’t matter and learning that you can’t even have a good offense with 3 ball dominant players on the court at the same time Just a stupid formula for both teams

could not be more tired of all the “takes” and hyperbole about the NBA on ESPN I don’t want to hear a thing about the warriors upsetting the Thunder in a hypothetical playoff series with almost half the season left and I also don’t believe windy for a second on the league not respecting OKC
