I’m seeing a lot of news articles about how record breaking sales will be this year for Black Friday. I don’t understand how this meshes with all the election stuff where folks are upset about the economy and they can’t afford rent, food, etc.

Anonymous speech is the only safe way for many folks to share unpopular opinions. Employees can get fired. The one democrat is an all republican family, or vice versa. The abused spouse. The closeted lgbtq person. The scared and pregnant teen. The list of people who need to be anonymous is endless.
