Well I guess based on the people I follow, I like podcasts, Star Trek, old PC games and Japan. And stationery. 🇯🇵

Has anyone done a Craig David 7 days version of the 5 bullet point email to Elon?

Anyone else feel a bit like Alan Partridge when you get those Captchas and think 'technically, that's a combine harvester, not a tractor'?

The thread I didn't know I needed.

I don't know why I read the Guardian's Blind Date column, but I always like it when the people get along and are honest enough to admit it. This is a nice one. www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle...

It's pretty sad the rights to Bond are going to be in the hands of Amazon now.

I just hope Amazon puts the focus back on classic James Bond storytelling elements. Like the long history of villains that are grossly wealthy, insecure egomaniacs desperate to validate their fragile egos with wild schemes to control the media, governments, and space itself.

I’m making my own list of text abbreviations (or initialisms) for more middle-aged, British people, like me. This is what I have so far. Hopefully they’ll catch on. Let me know what you’d add.

Sabrina Carpenter and Dolly Parton singing Please Please Please. It makes so much sense. youtu.be/YiQ7qiL73aI?...

Speaking of Back to the Future, I may be late to the game on this, but can we take Jennifer being played by a different actress as a sign that they didn't return to the exact same timeline?

We live in a world where at least 50% of the people who watch Back to the Future think Biff was the hero.

I wish this thing would hurry up and get here

Blimey. It's only February 2025. What the fuck.

Just discovered that the magnificent 16 Sunsets podcast is on Bluesky: @16sunsets.bsky.social An engaging deep dive on the history of the space shuttle, definitely worth a listen (as is 13 Minutes to the Moon)

Don't do it, Sam!

@docjwatsonmd.bsky.social Hilarious to hear プーさん in your recent episode. You're crossing all the streams for me: Sherlock, podcasts and the Japanese obsession with Disney (not a fan myself, just very familiar with it).

Another thing to be worried about. That said, there is something cool about the phrase "global planetary defence procedures." www.theguardian.com/science/2025...

Bit rich of OpenAI to complain that their work might have been ripped off for AI...

When I was a kid, I loved the second Back to the Future. But I realise rewatching as an adult, I think I love the third one. They're all great, but the third one has so much heart.

Can't wait for Copilot 365 with Tiktok for Business (Classic) getting shoehorned into my spreadsheets.
