There's all kinds. You know those automated texts you get sometimes? They use a professional SMS program. You can send a single message to the entire number list, or you can send custom messages to individuals.
Medical places use them for appointment reminders

For you, the game is the gameplay. For me, the game is the story - an interactive one.
It's like how I felt with FE: Engaged. The combat was fun, but the story couldn't grip me, and you had no say over what the protag said. So I stopped.
