If 8 Democrat senators had not voted for cloture, the government would have shut down. No more funds were appropriated to continue it. The Speaker had already dismissed the House. Time for Americans to accept responsibility for their choices.

When are you going to get it, America? Banks offer loans/credit cards at exorbitant rates, and you borrow as long as you can to keep providing for your family. Banks get back as much as 28% interest or higher, making their initial investment back before ever applying anything to principal.
