As a teenager I walked into a hobby store and this was on the shelf with the lucrative price tag of Free. Little did I know this would prove to be one of the most important tomes I would ever pick up.

This week, Congress could simply remove Trump's power over tariffs. It's all delegated from Congress. But instead

There's a part of Project 2025 that is explicitly about doing this, so whether it happens because of the tariffs or not, it's going to happen.

If you want to see a leading edge indicator of where this is all going to go, take a look at what happens on Kickstarter over the next month. Companies that had been gearing up for campaigns have to reevaluate and in a lot of cases that's going to result in scrapping the proposal.

Hey remember when people in the video games industry were like "enjoy all your 2024/2025 releases because nothing new is coming after that"? Turns out that's applicable to board games as well

I've been wondering how tariffs will affect the table top games industry- answer- not good.

I need you all to apologize to George Lucas

Two-thirds of both houses of Congress could undo this whenever they want by passing a bill over Trump's veto taking all power to set tariff rates away from him. Tariffs are set by law. The Constitution gives the president no power over tariffs--only our current laws do that.
