One exceptional trait Mikel has is he never makes excuses. When we aren't good enough, regardless of injuries, he's the first to own up; this was especially true during our poor form during lockdown. Ange, Ten Hag and Amorim could learn a thing or two. #COYG

Raya was booked in the first half at Palace for time wasting. Comparing that to what’s happening here is exasperating. We need a more objective measure for time wasting, the refs are too dumb not to be governed by narrative on this.

Don't think that could have gone worse. Out of the FA Cup, lost Gabriel Jesus to potentially serious injury, missed a load of chances, missed a penalty, played 30 mins of extra-time ahead of a North London derby, and the heartache of losing a penalty shoot-out. A disaster of a day.

Match of the Day showing the touch by Saliba, saying they thought the decision was wrong. Interesting that the commentary said VAR instantaneously confirmed the decision. Seems VAR didn't bother looking at all the angles. Like that offside Brentford goal 2 seasons ago where they didn't draw lines.

Anthony Taylor wrongly ruled out a winner versus Liverpool, didn't give a clear penalty on Martinelli from Konate and now today couldn't wait to give a contentious penalty. Wenger was correct, he's dishonest to his federation. He can get in the bin alongside Howard Webb.

Couldn't make it to the game today. Wasn't a great watch and in some ways was the perfect result for Mikel. He was putting pressure on KSE and the board for some signings in January and hopefully this proves to the directors that we need attacking reinforcements going forward. COYG! #ARSIPS

Heartbreak with that offside. I think mikels subs were done at the wrong time. Just as we were starting to purr should have left it a few mins longer, especially Trossard for Nelli. I had made peace with the title being over after Chelsea but this seems like the final nail.

Paul made a great point about how we can thank Salah for Saka with Saka putting up Salah numbers and analysing Salah's movements and positioning. Good read in the athletic about Pepe's Arsenal's struggles. Always had a soft spot for him. Baffled me why Mikel brought in Willian just when he was coming into good form. Eye opening that Unai pushed hard for him when it was always assumed that he was a Raul signing.

Was good to be back at the carpet yesterday. We looked like Arsenal again! MØ sublime, Calafiori and Timber both have made us more unpredictable. Kiwior at RB and Zinny at LB have shown we have to utilise our squad. Was good Rice and Kai got a rest and Merino looked like Xhaka next to MØ.
