If Star Trek's mission is 'to boldly go where no one has gone before' - how come whenever they get to a new place, they meet someone?? 🤔 #scifi

🤔

CONFESSION: I did not bear children to Elon Musk (yet? 👀)

Wrote a mind-boggling amount of words today: 66. One paragraph. Some days are like that 🤷‍♂️ But I *did* put words on the page today. And it's a good paragaph, so a good writing day. :) #writingCommunity

A reminder that "Generations" is on promotion price this week, so if you're into a thought-provoking and fun mystery set on a Generation-ship, with a sassy badass female protagonist - WELCOME TO THE THETIS! 🚀 amzn.to/3W45AmX

Today I realized: Saying "www" is 3x the syllables of just saying "world wide web" 🤯

"Generations" is now part of a cool promo: You get 2 Scifi books for free (ebook version) - and a chance to win a full box-set of "Dune" 1-3! use the below link to enter (free, of course): promos.reignofreads.com/lnk/d25-noam...

QUESTION: I saw a comment criticizing how in "Generations", a futuristic novel, I invent some new words for swearing. To me, slang, and esp. swear words, are the first things a young generation reinvents to "not sound like their parents". What's some cringy slang your grand/parents use?

Wait... what did I just see? 👀

The following is a chart depicting the duration of opening sponsorships on the Lex Fridman show in the past 24 months. TL;DR : 6.40 mins (Jan23 average) --> 14.22 mins (Jan25 average) - a 122% increase. ❤️ disclaimer: 👇

A NOTE AND SUGGESTION RE TYPOS IN INDIE-PUBLISHED NOVELS: a recent reader review, stating they lowered their star rating due to identifying a typo in the text, got me thinking: 👇 1/6

Playing with 3D animation is really messing with my mind... 😅

I pay, therefore I am.

Seems like a relevant Kindle Popular Highlight from my novel "Generations"... 🤔 Check it out: amzn.to/3W45AmX A space mystery set on a generation ship, where a witty and defiant Archivist is finding herself in the midst of a grand conspiracy led by humanity's leadership.

😥❤️

Ok, I'm never sleeping again 😬

My newly found obsession - ISMO, a Finnish comedian whose delivery is so shy and awkard and dry that I simply can't not love the guy. Does he have a full show streaming anywhere? youtube.com/playlist?lis...

RIP 😭

Oh my... A legend, a disruptor, a freeer of minds, the artist whose aesthetic vision and storytelling prowess rose above every convention. RIP David Lynch. Your legacy shall live forever. 🫡😭 www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...

THANK YOU! Just hopped on GoodReads and had a heart-warming moment finding over 260 readers interested or actively reading "Generations"! 📚😊 Seems that the 'don't trust the system' and 'standing up to oppression' themes of this soft scifi mystery are relevant :) Check it out: amzn.to/3W45AmX

As a scifi author, you often find yourself asking really weird questions, such as: "how will kids swear 200 years from now?", or: "What's the origin of the color name Mauve?" Well, at least on the color front, here are some cool origin stories!

Strongly considering titling book 2 of "Generations" simply: GENERATIIONS (two Is) And book 3 GENERATIIIONS The letter design will ensure it stands out. BUT I have an itch that I'm borrowing that gimmick from something similar ive seen. Any ideas? Before I make an ass of myself? 😬😅

No judgement on anyone's beverage choices, but I'll be going with the Mojito...
