Today's motorcycle is Burt Munro's (AKA Motorcycle Jesus) personal 1920 Indian Scout. This isn't just any Indian, it is the fastest Indian EVER. The madman made his own tools and components to push this bike to the absolute limit. 1/2

This week's motorcycle is the Boss Hoss. It is powered by a Chevy V8. Horsepower: Yes Torque: All of it Top Speed: Around 180 mph... maybe. No one is crazy enough to confirm. Fastest anyone has dared to go on one is 140 mph.

Kicking off the reboot of Motorcycle of the Week, we're doing the first one I covered. My dream bike, the Yamaha VMAX 1700! Powered by a 1679cc V4, this absolute beast has a max output of 200 hp and an impressive top speed of 175 mph! And it looks beautiful while doing it! 1/2

Not every shark needs to move to breathe.

Debatable

No motorcycle this week. Enjoy this diagram of the most fuel efficient two-stroke ever.

This week's motorcycle is the Yamaha WR250R. Powered by a 249cc single-cylinder motor, it has a max output of 30 horsepower while weighing under 300 pounds. This gives it a respectable top speed just under 90 mph. 1/2

This week's motorcycle is one that has been creating quite a stir in the world of bikes. It is the CFMoto Ibex 450. It is quite possibly the first Chinese motorcycle to actually be good, hence why it is making waves right now. 1/4

Kicking off the first Motorcycle of the Week of 2025, we got my favorite motorcycle of all time, the Honda NR 750! Now, I know I already did this one on Twitter, but I don't think I did it justice. Powered by a 747cc V4 with oval pistons, this absolute beauty can do a whopping 160 mph! 1/4

No motorcycle this week.

This week's motorcycle is the damn near indestructible Honda XR650L. Can you tell which one of these was made in 1994 and which was made in 2024? Bet you can't, because like it's rival, the Suzuki DR650, it hasn't been updated in 30 years because you can't improve perfection.

This week's motorcycle is the 1975 Suzuki RE5. It is powered by a rotary engine and almost killed Suzuki. Yeah... Rotary engines are kinda a cursed technology. They tend to kill everything they touch.

Someone just pulled up to where I work in this.

This week's motorcycle is the Ford V8-60 from the 1930s to the 1950s. That's right. At one point, Ford made motorcycles. Now, as it is very obscure, specs are really hard to find. It is said to have been capable of reaching 95 mph, which is respectable for the time.

Got something new for Fae

This week's motorcycle is the Yamaha WR450F 2-TRAC. This bike is special because unlike almost any other motorcycle ever, it has all wheel drive. Yes, the front wheel has power going to it. Makes it really good for deep sand or mud. I honestly wish it caught on.

This week's motorcycle is the Yamaha MT-01, the very first of the MT line of bikes. Powered by the same 1670cc V-twin as the Yamaha Warrior, this beauty has a max output of 90 hp and a respectable top speed of 130 mph. 1/2

How I arrived on Bluesky

This week's motorcycle is the Kawasaki ZZR1100. Powered by a 1,052cc inline 4, this beauty has a max output of 147 hp and a top speed of 177 mph! This is also the precursor to Kawasaki's sport touring bike, the Concourse.

No motorcycle this week. Everything sucks too much right now.

Kicking off the first motorcycle of the week on this platform is the 1997 Honda Valkyrie. Powered by a 1,520cc flat six, it has a max output of 100 hp and a top speed of 112 mph. Honda basically just took a Goldwing engine and shoved it into a cruiser with this.
