did i leave the oven on

I imagined how goofy the shoulders would end up looking, giggled, then immediately drew it because I needed to see it made real

If you moved the isle of Manhattan it wouldn't make a lake of the East River and Hudson so much as just extend the Upper New York Bay.

With every passing day my resolve weakens.

I’ll let the list speak for itself.

Trying to get this Logo procedure to work and delighted to discover that no matter what I'm writing, one thing always holds true: when in doubt, add more parentheses.

And of course it could’ve been wildly successful and they still would’ve fired half the team, so really why would anyone give a shit about making a “successful” game.

Watched a sad movie too close to bedtime so now I’m distracting myself by watching Um, Actually and seeing if I can beat the top score, and so far I’m winning.

Alright, it’s 3 am, time to play my game of the year.

Never stop believing in yourself.

I’m honestly surprised that Forspoken is actually as bad as everyone said it was.

Eternally impressed by whoever had to foley Niles' shaker in S10E20 (at least I assume it's foley, I don't see how that could be live audio). The bits where he's dancing are great but the kicker is when he's dodging around Frasier at the end of the scene.

Semi-unrelated, but I have a theory that the Neil Young who blurbed the Salesforce CEO’s book is just some dude and not the famous Neil Young, because he’s the only name on the back of the book that doesn’t have any text explaining who he is.

Ok here’s the thing about the wine tasting competition in S07E17 of Frasier: surely Frasier detecting the wine that’s less present actually makes him a better wine taster than Niles? Right? Like I’m not normally one to root for Frasier over Niles but this seems like a gross miscarriage of justice.

The last 6.5 hours are mostly a big red blur, but the one thought I do remember passing through my fever-addled, sleep-deprived, thoroughly congested head is “I know I’ll be able to breathe through my nose at some point, and if not I’ll just marry someone who can.”

This feels pointed.

Kind of wishing I'd played the THREE VERSES demo yesterday, that plus a 100° fever would've been interesting. Anyway my favorite part is the angle on this dude's dialogue (and the input prompt after), I don't know why it just really tickles me.

It wasn't an "ad hominem". I'm calling you an idiot because your argument sucks, not saying your argument sucks because you are an idiot. Subtle distinction, I know, to understand. Especially for an idiot like you.

The backlash to them saying it was gonna be live service was immediate and loud. Not even the shitty dragon age fans wanted that. Even leading up to its release people who know so little about game dev cycles that they think BG3 is the reason EA nixed the live service didn’t want it.

Why is it that in some cases doctors are like “ok well you’re gonna start taking this” and then in other cases they’re like “well you qualify for this medication, would you like to take it?” And it’s like I don’t know man I was kind of hoping you’d tell me what with you being a doctor and all.

5 years. 5 fucking years.

Love this bit from right at the end of Conversations vol. 2 where Borges talks about his recurring symbols.

I don’t know that Mr. Peanutbutter’s friend Erica is definitely influenced by other unseen women such as Maris Crane and Vera Peterson, but it’s notable that while the descriptions of those two are largely based on misogynist stereotypes, Erica’s increasingly absurd descriptions are *just* absurd.

Turns out a bank that calls itself a community credit union and acts all friendly and like it cares about people is still a bank and will still spend five years charging you low balance fees without telling you.
