Need to set the record straight bc there’s a lot of misinfo out there from some MAPS PI’s trying to misdirect. In the discourse that unfolded this year, it was former MAPS employees who first described the org as a “cult” in BI’s 5.13 story. (Goldhill followed up in her STAT story). This matters.

People who are against the carceral state are now complaining about Biden pardoning his child, instead of hammering him for how few he’s granted. Of 158,000 fed inmates + ? released felons, Biden has pardoned 26 and commuted 132. Be mad about that instead. It’s an awesome power he’s neglected.
