Today is January 6th and no one is watching the Capitol be plundered, feces being smeared on the walls, and police officers being stabbed with American flags. Why? Because one side believes in democracy no matter what, and the other side only believes in it only when they win.

I agree America is great and gas made strides for humanity, but what has made America great to you? I would assert that it's what makes the US more unique. An innovative government structure, diversity in backgrounds, trailblazers in social issues, and tech advances. Not blind patriotism and hate.

Recently took a peek at Twitter and the disinformation is getting substantially more dangerous. Someone could get killed. The tactics of constantly repeating outright lies, targeting specific people, repurposing years-old footage and presenting them as new is getting to another level. It’s scary.

I'm 38 and just now realizing I've been overestimating someone that's been around my entire life. I can't help but to lose a lot of respect for them when they let fear, entitlement, hate, bigotry, and disinformation rule their lives without any research or self reflection. A sad Christmas.
