Sometimes you see good design and feel motivated & inspired. Other times it drains all hope as you feel unskilled & talentless by comparison. Gunpla gives me the whole emotional spectrum.

I'm designing a model kit, similar to gunpla, but I'm already painfully aware that a lot of gunpla works due to the superior surface finish, tight tolerances & mechanical properties of injection moulded parts.

Turns out, if you have a 3D printer that can use up to 4 colours in a single print, it takes 13 prints to have at least one of every current Allagan Tomestone. (The 14th shown is just for printing a lot of mini poetics) #3dprinting #ffxiv #tomestones

Got a delivery of #Prusa #Prusament Galaxy Black earlier (the only plastic I use for #3DPrinting my #tomestones) from #1233D, a great supplier in the UK. #DPD even delivered where I asked & on time. Sadly there's no secure way to deliver to my building & after being left by the bins, it was stolen.

I wish I could set my #Bambulab A1 printers to always be on silent mode, going at 50% speed. Yes, prints would take twice as long but the quality would be better & I'd get less failures. I feel like #Prusa had a point when they said speed isn't everything.
