It feels like every time I get hopeful for something, it gets torn apart somehow. That same old fear nipping at my heels again. I wanted to keep this a positive account, and focus on my aspirations. But lately it feels like a noose is slowly tightening around my neck, and I can't keep quiet forever.

I'm sick of ppl scolding creatives for this. It's painful for me to delete my Twitter, bcs yeah, it's a lot of followers. But also, when I post there I do still get ppl subscribing. I've not turned on the heating this winter to save money, I can't really afford to just "cut my losses".

So is there a specific feed or hashtag for level designers on here? I see plenty of gamedev stuff of other sorts, but nothing about fun environmental or level design. I'd love to pick some brains, that's a major weak point in my kit.

An odd thing I was thinking about is Form Emphasis. These faces both have every slider set to 128, except Form Emphasis is set to 0 in the second image. Considering most of FromSoftware's preset faces have Form Emphasis at 0 or a low number in general, I think this is actually the true default face.

The eternal question of a modern Zelda game: voice acting, or no voice acting? Voice acting can lend some serious weight to characterization, but there's something charming about the odd grunts and caws that pre-Switch Zelda stuck to.
