Finished On 2/21/25: Blue Eye Samurai 📺 (2023). 8/10. A fantastic show! Great action, great characters, a lovely art style, and did I mention the action? It's phenomenal. Episode 5 was my favorite. The protag (Mizu) just has so many layers and a great backstory that just kept getting expanded...

Very excited for the new avatar show. Korra at its best is just as good as the original show IMO (though obviously it has its low-points). I think you can tell it has potential considering that Avatar is now its own studio within Nickelodeon/Paramount

2/13/25: Captain America: Brave New World 🎥 (2025). 6/10. Full, Spoiler-Free (I think) review on Letterboxd. Death by a thousand re-shoots. A fine film that has its heart in the right place but lacks any solid themes of any kind other than "stop the bad guys." About as good as the TV show IIRC.

i mean this seriously: are they saving Wolverine as a PS6 launch title? The PS5 is 4 years old, Spider-Man 2 is 1 year old, and I'm 99% sure Wolverine was announced before SP2 was. If they finish it and save it for another 3-4 years they can release stuff a little quicker next gen. maybe idk
