I bought a gray highlighter in Muji Because I've an essay deadline, and the reading material doesn't deserve color.

Finding it hard to reconcile that this is the last week in February.

Dublin Muji doesn't do even half the amount of kitchenware that the London stores do. Very disappointing. I really wanted a lightweight glass teapot.

Carter Vail was well worth traveling to Dublin for.

I wish the youth of today would understand some of us would rather not be stuck on a train with to them vaping their candy floss lung rot.

Today, I am neither here nor there

Randomly just got pissed off about that time 20 years ago when I worked in retail and said 'Can I help you?' to a lady who responded in patronising, worst kind of school teacher way with: 'i'm sure you can, but whether you may help me is another matter.'

How very dare a politician play politics. Who do they think they are? (No context, just annoyed at click bait headlines)

The neighbors will be livid if the modular/shed news is true. That means potentially 2 more cars in that rented house that already has 4 cars outside it.

Work are providing Financial Well-being webinars.. But all the focus is how you, as part of a couple, can best use your dual income to pay that mortgage.

With the search engines dead, how am I now supposed to look up why my lower eyelid is twitching. Because my usual stress twitch is in my upper eyelid.

Since when did 'Wondering around' become a thing? 'He wondered around the woods'. 'I found her wondering around outside'. Because this is what I imagine wondering around looks like:

When your new year's resolution is to read more, buy less. Valentines day is a great day to buy yourself a book for a book date. Today I bought the book. Forgot the date.

What's the Valentines day version of 'Bah, Humbug'? It's my last few hours in London and the place is overrun with men carrying flowers.

Today I went to the Soil exhibition in Somerset House. Interesting exhibition. It starts off really strong, with some beautiful displays. But I felt some of the pieces further in the exhibition could have been displayed ... differently. All in all, an educational afternoon.

Second half was better than the first. Might have enjoyed it all more had I not learned there is currently a live action Sailor Moon show up in Camden that I wouldn't make it to today or tomorrow. I should have been more thorough when looking at what's on this week.

I am spending the afternoon at the Back to the Future musical. Interval review: The set is good. And the dancing energetic.

I quite enjoyed the Versailles exhibition at the Science Museum. But I do reckon we're back at the at the 'let them eat cake' part of the wealthy playing with politics and science.

I have been to see Much Ado About Nothing in the Theater Royal Drury Lane Standing ovation for all. Not one person miscast. James Phoon 100% reaffirming my soft spot for Claudios.

It's my first time in a short term let apartment. I didn't hear a knock and the landlord was just there when I came out of the bathroom. Asking if I wanted anything. I only want to know the door locks, thanks. 😧

Going through a box of unread books and found an unopened bookmark. Reader. I've not gotten lost on the way to the Internet in far too long.

I thought I had a box of kitchen items under my bed. Opened the box. 3 college diplomas, and 15 mugs.

Is it time to let go of my A1 size Gundam Wing wall scroll? The black marks on the back are possibly the start of mould. 😭

One more art and I'm done... Until I get back into the headspace to create new art.

A *small* announcement ... Molly Malone & Bram Stoker in the Curious Case of the Irish Yeti, a brand new children's musical, will be opening at the Whale Theatre Greystones for a micro-run in April! whaletheatre.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/...

If teenage me had just kept practicing art. Pencil drawing from my junior cert in '99.

Long ago I had a Tumblr. I got to 223 badly drawn daleks. I wanted to get to 1001. Just 778 to go 1001.https://www.tumblr.com/1001daleks

Clearing my room for the painter. Found my old arts. The headache pictures are still accurate.

@cemurphy.bsky.social Just found that the Dublin driver books are on Borrowbox. But they are all out on loan.

Is a Super Cthuhlu too niche for the charity shop? Because this guy needs a new home. Do the charity shops take plushies?

The excitement knowing M&S now have tteokbokki.

Roses are redde Noble are the manatees Yf we wante a bettir future Teach artes & humanityes

Resisted the urge to buy a book today in the bookshop. So I bought a novelty pen. And at least one addiction was feed.

I know I follow more UK authors than Irish. But I am starting to wonder will Irish book publishers be impacted by the uk's AI proposal? Under Irish copyright law, irish publishers still have to submit library deposits to the British library.

Insta have now ruined doom scrolling. Gone are my silly Chinese dramas about a woman scorned. Gone are my kdrama clips, and kpop dancing. Gone are the ridiculous food videos. In their place is nothing but xenophobia and propaganda.
