Tragic; someone wrote an otherwise hot story but they keep slipping "would" in. And it's not like the entire thing is written in hypothetical tense, it's just here and there so you start and think it's readable, then you get slapped in the face with 'would'.

Stellaris has been out for 9 years. At the dawn of Stellaris, a game about running a space empire, there were people saying that the devs should make the ground combat more interesting. On the abstracted planets, with only numbers and buildings and a number of people that is also abstract.

Rereading the Wheel of Time and I just noticed something interesting. Rand can shield a man from the source, but not a woman. So for some reason, the weave for making a shield is different based on your target's gender (more probably; which half of the source they can channel)
