I just had a torrid time since he started- I expected his immune system would need to build but wow! Itās constant! We had sickness over October half term and Christmas š¢

Seems clear as mud these days. Theyāre overreaching. Massively. If SMO wanted to be able to talk freely about these matters then he shouldnāt have gone for the Head of Ofsted job. Now he has it, he needs to stay in that lane.

And I swear I DIDNT want to get political on here but omg some people are losing their minds. Itās ridiculous. The fact you can even badmouth and call for the PM to step down etc shows we do not live in any where near the sort of dictatorship Putin runs and yet, they just canāt see it?! š¤Æ

Hmmm, unsurprising. I wonder if KB ever suggested that Gove couldnāt/shouldnāt have an opinion on education reforms given he had never been a Headteacher.
Itās hilarious she simply cannot see itās her own partisanship showing š¤£

itās funny you say that because thatās how I feel! Admittedly I didnāt have anywhere near the same online profile as you + initially I was gutted ālosingā my 8k followers but I found that the less and less I forced myself to spend on there, I ended up not caring. You realise thereās more to life!

Yeah, it became just too horrible. I genuinely feel better not checking it every day now. My āFor Youā feed was full of stuff that was clearly being promoted and not what I wanted to see at all. It was so dispiriting seeing that every day.

Same. Plus because I refused to pay for a blue tick (Iām not paying to share MY opinions) no one ever engaged with my posts anyways as the algorithm suppressed them. So no point anyway!

I donāt think the Edudiscussion nature as such, is dead, just needs to leave that platform. Get a group of us teachers together anywhere and weāre gonna want to talk shop. Just shouldnāt be on X any longer.

I remember when I qualified as an NQT and I had a Yr11 class ask me if I watched The Inbetweeners (I did) but before I even got to answer one girl said āno way, sheās way too old for thatā.
Reader, I was 23.

Thing is, itās 100% guaranteed that Rupert would be on this same show, complaining about foreign interference, if this were Elon Musk donating to any other party than his.

Thereās so much of it about right now sadly. I was just getting over a chest infection last week (antibiotics sorted it out) and then my 1 year old brought HFM into the house and I caught it š«š°

Also hate all the family stuff like families are perfect and sisters gush over their memories and buying presents for each other āYouā (looking at YOU John Lewis!) and families are tough and SO complex š°
