1/ šŸšØ 53 Filipinos are diagnosed with HIV every day. Access to PrEP, a game-changing HIV prevention tool, is still limited in the Philippines. Programs like #PEPFAR and EpiC are crucial in bridging the gap. But now, these efforts are at risk. šŸ§µ

The global fight against #HIV/ #AIDS is a delicate balance of science, solidarity, and sustained support. Yet, Trumpā€™s Executive Order halting U.S. humanitarian aid risks unraveling decades of progress. Hereā€™s why this decision is dangerousā€”and deeply unjust. šŸ§µ groundup.org.za/article/trum...

Grateful to the Angeles City council for recognizing me during todayā€™s session for being named the 2024 Dr. Patrick Kenny Certified Nurse of the Year by HANCB and the 2024 HIV Educator Distinguished Service Awardee by ANAC. Itā€™s humbling to represent our city!

Only got serious about tracking my progress in Q4 this year. Next yearā€™s goal: outperform that. Letā€™s go. šŸ’ŖšŸ¼

This Christmas, sending love to those spending it aloneā€”especially our queer siblings & those living with HIV whoā€™ve been disowned. You are seen, loved, & valued just as you are. Chosen families & communities can be just as powerful. You are never alone. Yakap na mahigpit! ā¤ļø

Trained my shoulders after a month long hiatus. The first two sum up the feelings throughout the workout. šŸ„²

Finding my angel? angle? Spell check? Hahaha

New haircut, who dis? šŸ˜

A student asked, ā€œSir, ano po ibig sabihin ng pin na ā€˜You Are Safe With Meā€™?ā€ I smiled and said, ā€œIbig sabihin nito, ligtas ka, nirerespeto, at pinahahalagahan kitaā€”kahit sino ka man, sino ang mahal mo, o paano mo ipresenta ang sarili mo. šŸŒˆ #SafeSpaces #InclusionMatters

ā€œWhere Compassion Meets Innovation: Nurturing the Nursesā€™ Human Spirit in the Age of AIā€ at Our Lady of Fatima University AI is a powerful tool, but it will never replace the ā€œgalingā€ at ā€œmalasakitā€ of Filipino nurses. Compassion must remain at the core of nursing care. šŸ’–

You miss my body? šŸ¤© I missed my body. šŸ˜© Back at it (after a long break due to my US trip) with a back workout.

Post a photo of you in water. I guess one cannot be more IN water than this. šŸ¤£

Somebody said these were ā€œElphabath towelsā€. I wished I was that witty šŸ„²

Today is International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Disabilities can be visible or invisible, but inclusion is a right, not a privilege. Letā€™s work toward a society that embraces and accommodates all abilities. #IDPD2024 #InclusionMatters #AccessibilityForAll

šŸŒ On World AIDS Day 2024, we reflect on this yearā€™s theme: ā€œTake the Rights Path: My Health, My Right.ā€ Across the globe, human rights violations continue to hinder progress in HIV prevention, testing, treatment, care, and support. Letā€™s dive into the challenges. šŸ§µ

Health is a right, not a privilege. On #WorldAIDSDay, I honor the courage of those living with HIV and recommit to creating a future where everyone can say: ā€œMy Health, My Right.ā€ Together, letā€™s break stigma, fight inequity, and walk the rights path to justice. #TakeTheRightsPath #HealthEquity

What I thought would be a chill flight to NRT turned eventful. Helped stabilize an older adult who fainted mid-flight with low BP, high HR, and low O2. Elevated his feet, got him on oxygen, and coordinated with staff for airport clinic support. Nurse mode: ON. āœˆļø #Nursing

I will need a long ass spa day after this trip. 21 hour flight back to the home land begins now. šŸ›«
