#nowplaying a superb rarity from the late 70s Japanese Electronic age, Kitaro’s “From the Full Moon Story” 1979 original vinyl record. Space awesomeness!

Sunday Jazz before lunch, West Coast Blues by Wes Montgomery, The Almighty (: Purple vinyl record kills me!

Praying for Pope Francis, a fighter, a humanist, an example. Wish he had the time to visit Ukraine, would’ve been perfect. He’s an extraordinary Pope.

We’ve been watching Tokyo Vice and it’s pretty amazing. Already on Season 2. What a show!

One thing that have always soothed me during stressful deadlines, delivering design for clients, is taking care of our cars. Taking a couple of hours washing, checking, beauty kit, everything. Always loved it since taking care of my dad’s Renault 5

BTW, for Saturday’s lunch my wife came up with amazing Bifanas. You can google it, tastes as good as it looks. With beer 🍺, of course

Hygge family moment last Friday night, dinner and coffee with my brother and sister in-law. It was awesome because it was unexpected

Today would be my father's Bday if cancer didn't win. Think of you, dad, my best friend ever.

Power to the users. Sell your Teslas. Mars is unlivable. Clear the atmosphere of Nelo's space toys. Yes.

President Zelensky rules, such courage under fire, extraordinary brave for his people. UK and Denmark already focused on aiding Ukraine on a higher level. End result is a reunited Europe, which economically already is, and militarily on its way. What about that, Trmup "The Little man"?

President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

One cool project from 2024: Promedwork, our client since 2008, grew with two new branch companies so we had to organize the communication as a whole in a document. Quite cool to be a part of our client's success. Yes.

Playing our vinyl collection of Depeche Mode records and having a blast. Such good music.

President Zelensky postponing his trip to Riade, shows one thing for sure, he's the Churchill of our generation

Want to know how a third world war will start? US and Russia deciding themselves Ukraine’s fate…

The new Manics album, “Critical Thinking”, appears to have arrived just in time.

A plan. A club. A legacy. From Portugal to the world. One man, one vision—turning a dream into a reality that, in 40 years, put a city on the map. Portugal is more than just Lisbon; it’s also Porto—the invincible city, standing tall with pride. Rest in peace, Pinto da Costa. 🕊️

Not including Zelensky on Russian/ Ukrainian end of war negotiations is insulting. It’s moronic

My advice for logo design? Testing mockups after creating the logo. You'll have to change things, change is good. It's problem solving and that's what makes designers, designers. Yes.

Proportions between logo mark and lettering. Still going to class after all these years, yet fundamental to get it right. Each logo is a universe of its own spawning applications from tote bags to coffee mugs, paper and digital presences. Awesome. #creativepowerson

Mighty Boavista, Porto's underdog football/ soccer club finally allowed by Fifa to register new players (6 in a row!). Last place in the league, Lito Vidigal back as coach and it's on. As usual, we'll fight. Boavista! Boavista! #boavistaFC

Working on a brand new logo for design decor company Lemon Variance. Having a blast! The logo mark went really well and through finesse the logo is resolving itself. Creativity is quite something.

So Nelo Smuk wanted to get his hands on ChatGPT and ruin it just like he did with Twitter. Anyways, Sam Altman's response with buying X way below what was worth when Nelo got it, was really funny

#Billionsseason7 was pretty phenomenal. Plot twist was kind of unexpected (no spoilers here). Anyways, I correct what I said about Paul Giamatti, first time I saw him on screen was on Singles... Back in 1992. Awesome short appearance 😂

Super cool week with lots of new projects coming in @dotgraf.bsky.social. 2025 already better than 2024. Yes.

Joyous Monday, everyone! I love Mondays because I've created my own job. You see, in the late 90's a web designer was something new and there I was, in Europe's forefront of the internet startups. Cheers! #GoodMonday #MondayVibes #CreativePower #Startups

Visiting Porto and into vinyl records, from rarities to unexpected finds? Yesterday, on a long walk in Porto's downtown searching for "that" vinyl record, found out a new stopping. vinyldisc.pt Vinyl Disc is hidden on a lawyers' downtown building, up on the 3rd. Floor. Amazing place, coolest owner

A day in Porto. Live meeting with this year’s interns went really well, always cool to see these kids from epic Soares dos Reis design school ready for their design careers

Music inspiration Wednesday! Metalheads and (so much more than that) classic rockers Mastodon with Crack the Skye's making of. Years go by and this is one of my fave rock albums of all times. Bloody epic youtu.be/9I-FpfFWB9I?...

Last year we've created the visual identity for the Translate Porto Conference. The illustration portrays the city of Porto, capturing its essence as a cosmopolitan and multicultural hub of cultural diversity and globalization #visualidentity #graphicdesign #posterdesign #illustration

Always keep in mind that democracy is not a spectator sport. Turning thoughts into ideas, ideas into speech, speech into action and reality will change

Blue Sky freedom is inspiring! Thought for the day: "The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any." I believe we proved something here

nEw mUSic Friday! A whole Soundgarden's album just skipped me. From Screaming Life/ Fopp (Sub Pop) Chris and his mates still move me with their Grunge as no other band managed to make it sound.... Wow youtu.be/zqQ2rgsVjrY?...

Bad a$$ song for the day, Metallica featuring Marianne Faithful with The Memory Remains from Reload youtu.be/RDN4awrpPQQ?...

25 years on the design job and still nervous before a presentation… It was a success, @dotgraf.bsky.social came out valued as Porto’s first league player. Humbled because it comes from hard work. Thank you!

Super sad for Marianne Faithfull’s passing… She was awesome

Design inspiration comes from everywhere. So I when I felt this year's interns were a bit stuck to their screens, I told them to hit the streets to check posters and galleries. Senses, analogies, observing, feeling design is way more deep than being on Pinterest boards over and over.

The living proof that power stands with the users, comes from how Blue Sky is emptying X. Nelo Shmuk playground never reached the momentum Twitter managed to. So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen na^i a$$

Creative project - Discovering the beauty of tessellation - a mosaic composition inspired by tapestry, crafted from the leftover shapes in Affinity Designer shape builder. Playing with colors and shapes is fascinating (:

After DeepSeek challenging the status quo, here's the inception of an idea. A space company finding a way to build rockets efficiently than SpaceX, spending way less resources combining solar with clean propulsion. Something that seemed impossible until it's done, freaking out Nelo Shmuk. Yes.

Being a fan of tech doesn't mean you have to pay allegiance to a douchebag. Bill Gates is half a douche than Nelo Shmuk and after knowing about his involvement with dubious people I threw all books I owed written about him to the garbage. For recycling. Power to the users!

At @dotgraf.bsky.social we're having an amazing creative time working for Maia International Film Festival. We're coming up with top work even with Eowyn storm taking electricity down for a full day and lightnings forcing to unplug. Resilience, I may say

Do I need to cheer up on this pouring rain... Thought of this, wonderful Blue Sky by The Allman Brothers. I like Joan Baez cover too. But The Allman Brothers is the One youtu.be/0lL2UEwM1z8?...

Yesterday's storm round here "Sunny Portugal" was bad but could've been worst. Construction site's protection metal plates started flying around, thankfully Civil Protection and Firefighters minimized the dangers. Had to remove our cars with plates flying around, it was my heroic moment. No damages.
