"Wanna go?!" The momentum is picking up faster than a "drop-the-puck-and-let's-have-at-it-right-now-bro" start to a hockey game. gofundme.com/f/nashtheslashrisesagain. Rescanned photo by James Bailey.

5/5. The lyrics are hard to decipher, and if they're aren't anti-American, they sure are pro-Canadian. We rely on social media to get the word out about our crowd-funder, but we'll move beyond this. To help out, go to gofundme.com/f/nashtheslashrisesagain.

4/ Minutes before posting the I'm A Canadian Band clip, I sent a note to a partner in our project: "Hey, should we leave X?" It's hard not to be paranoid these days. (...to be continued..."

3/ Then I went through those usual, infuriating, tedious steps: start/restart, log-in/log-out. Nothing. Shut out. I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I couldn't help but chuckle that the link I was trying to get to was the Facebook "Checkpoint." (...to be continued...)

2/ After I shared it to about a dozen of kindred spirit groups, I got a note from Facebook suspecting me of sending spam. This has never happened before. I clicked on the link to try and solve it, but it just went to a blank page. (...to be continued...)

1/ Is this interesting? I posted this this morning on Facebook. It's a live recording of Nash's parody of the Grand Funk Railroad song I'm An American Band. And then, as I've done so many times, I started sharing it to other groups. (...to be continued...) youtu.be/XrLGPTUUW8A?...

One of the great things about this project is the interactions we’ve had with people like Bela Lugosi’s granddaughter, members of Roxy Music, co-writer of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre — and fans: we got this this morning from fan and supporter Ally Brown today. GoFundMe.com/f/nashtheslashrisesagain
