The reason we want more, not less, young people to have a well rounded collegiate education is because ignorant people are easy to manipulate. See e.g. 2016 & 2024. MAGA will actively try to make the American electorate as stupid as possible. We have to counteract that. We need a cost free

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me. I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc
