Palestinian activist and former Columbia University student Mahmoud Khalil has led a rally in New York after his release from immigration detention, vowing to continue protesting against Israel’s genocide in Gaza.

The White House has put out a photo of Tulsi Gabbard in the Situation Room after there were a lot of questions about whether she was actually there.

It would seem Vance is telling the truth, because apparently no GBU-57s were dropped on the facility Iran uses to store its U-235: www.cnn.com/2025/06/22/p...

Trump's State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce says America is "the greatest country on earth next to Israel"

It’s okay. People only care about the price of eggs.

DONAKD J. TRUMP

You know it's a winning issue when independents are in line with Democrats and Republicans are in another universe.

There are three areas where Trump has his most dictatorial powers due to the courts and Congress: tariffs, immigration, and war. Of course, he's going to fuck up in all three. For the same reason, his dad was still bailing out his casinos when he was in his 40s.

CNN’s Van Jones urges “progressives” to “get on board” with bombing Iran: “I think progressives underestimate how dangerous Iran is. Iran is not a normal country,” he said on air. Jones did not share whether he considers Israel—an apartheid state currently committing genocide—a “normal country.”

Sources in Gaza hospitals to Al Jazeera correspondent: 45 people have been killed by Israeli army fire in the Strip since dawn today, including 18 who were waiting for American-run aid (video)

The American people were lied to about Vietnam, with tragic consequences. The American people were lied to about Iraq, with tragic consequences. The American people are being lied to again today. We cannot allow history to repeat itself.

Vance: We launched an unconstitutional and illegal attack on a hunch.

Trump wore his campaign hat in the situation room forever associating MAGA with the bombing of Iran

the amount of contempt vance has for everyone he's talking to — such that he'll say obvious nonsense as if he's fooling you — is genuinely remarkable

A question every reporter should be asking Trump and Republicans: If Trump doesn't trust his own Director of National Intelligence, and by extension, US intelligence, then which country's intelligence is he relying upon?

Seems important.

It’s a good thing Congress isn’t alive to see this

A Dem lawmaker and her husband were killed by a guy for their political views and it’s already out of the news.

That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers. Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they? Hello?

AOC: “It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”

All the hawks who led US into the disastrous war in Iraq and Afghanistan fell up in life. They're still on TV and writing columns and advising elected officials. Very few ever apologized. The same people are here now as Trump leads US into another reckless war with Iran.

Trump bombing Iran was illegal and unjustified. I ran for Congress to make sure our leaders consider the true costs of war. And I will be in the Senate, standing on my titanium legs, demanding answers from Trump. My statement:

Bernie Sanders calls the bombing of Iran unconstitutional and the crowd breaks out into “no more war”.

This is a good joke — and also true. Beyond the total atrophy of investigatory teeth, legislative productivity and competitive districts, there’s also the doozy from a few weeks ago: "There are authorities that police the executive branch," Speaker of the House Mike Johnson said. "That's not me."

Iran has learned its lesson. by Susan Collins

My very apolitical friend just said to me ‘No one f*cks with North Korea. Why do you think that is?’ Yep. There’s a clear message for a lot of Global South and Middle Eastern countries tonight. Sadly. And it isn’t a nonproliferation message.

It’s the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse

I’ll say it again: It was a huge mistake for Congress to abolish itself.

I clicked play because I thought surely no, this is being misrepresented. Naif that I am.

Much as I would not dare to predict the consequences of this war, I do think we can summarize it thusly so far: A smart and evil man manipulated a stupid and evil man into a war against a fanatical and evil regime.

You know how in the movies the murderer burns the house down to cover up his crimes? This is what republicans are doing to America.

Personally I am unfamiliar with any legitimate activity that requires switching license plates, which by the way is illegal.
