One thing that changed me forever is the realization "anyone can draw". I used to think you had to be special to make art. I'd doodle stuff but never thought it was possible for me to get better. Talent is often thrown around towards artists when actually its hard work and commitment to the craft

One of the biggest but also worst sites for art motivation: Pinterest. You either get actual inspiration or end up doomscrolling, throwing away hours of potential time.
