Presidents day? Nobody gives a shit.

I got 5 on it by Luniz is a classic but I can't help but chuckle at the lyric "I take sacks to the face whenever I can"

ICYMI!! I have a new book out this weekend!

@realdollyparton.bsky.social is truly an angel. She quietly donated $100k toward the construction of a healing garden at the new hospital in the small town where I live. Thanks Dolly, we love you.

One thing I've learned about people is that in reality, not one would walk away from Omelas.

The truest thing I've read today

got to talk "Father, Son, Holy Rabbit" with friends, into a mic, on the air, with a cool wolf howling as wolves are wont to do. In the world now, probably wherever you get your podcasts:

"A negative attitude is the trademark of active addiction. Everything that occurred in our lives was someone or something else's fault...In recovery, we find that life goes a lot easier when we replace our negative thinking with positive principles."#NA Just For Today #AA #SoberSky

I'm on smoko, so leave me alone

Nicolas Cage out here being the hero we all knew he was meant to be

It’s #FridayReads time! Let’s boost all signals. Repost this and let us know what to repost for you. I’m sharing this (the hardcover is on sale!) because the time for multicultural, bilingual fiction full of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ characters is always, but especially now. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0316...

This morning I walked out of the house and saw a thin man kneeling on the sidewalk coughing up blood. I went to him, but he looked up and raised his hand before I got to him. Between coughs, he said "The secret to surviving this is...write this down...0316427012...Google it."

If you're a horror lit fan and you find it hard to get into audiobooks I recommend trying "The Fisherman" by John Langan. The style lends itself very well to the format, it has a campfire tale quality that just chills you to the bone. It also helps that it's one of the greatest books ever written.

Well I've finally deactivated my twitter account. I've tried to hang on for a while because there are some really good people over there but it became too much. One day maybe the world will turn and things will get better, but until they do I don't need that kind of shit.

Listening to Thin Lizzy this morning and still just blown away by the genius of Phil Lynott.

David Lynch was a singular talent. There never was and never will be anyone like him again.

The kids are alright youtu.be/7JdWM0IHFxg?...

Tragedies are a hard thing to deal with, but when you're trying to stay sober the urge to escape into drugs and alcohol can be overwhelming. If you know someone struggling with sobriety who is dealing with tragedy, be there for them. Talk to them and keep them company. You could save a life.

Thinking about my friends in Cali facing these fires. I hope everyone is safe.

Another one down. May this year be better than the last.

we're steadily making it, y'all! I hope to have the tires and alignment done by the New Year. can you help us get there?

Happy Birthday to Jacqueline Louise Fuchs aka Jackie Fox, bass player for the pioneering all-girl teenage rock band the Runaways, born on this day in 1959, Los Angeles. In December 2018 she appeared on Jeopardy!, winning four games and $87,089 #punk #womenofpunk #jackiefox #otd

Always and forever.

Superman is my favorite superhero (if you know my family then you know). I’m so excited for this!! 😍 I won’t spoil it, but I’m SUPER excited for the first time a certain character makes an appearance in a Superman movie 🩷 youtu.be/uhUht6vAsMY?...
