#ILwx #SeverePrep Week: Reminder that the Routine Weekly NOAA Weather Radio Test has been moved to today (3/4) at 10 AM CT to coincide with outdoor warning siren tests conducted by many communities across Illinois on the first Tuesday of the month. http://weather.gov/chicago/severeprepare

Waves of rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue through Wednesday morning. Temperatures will fall Wednesday afternoon causing rain to transition to snow possibly leading to slick spots on untreated roads.

A band of lake effect snow is moving into NW IN! Those in eastern Lake County, IN and northern Porter County (including I-80/94 corridor) should be prepared for sharply reduced visibility (as low as 1 mile) with the band. A quick dusting may also occur on untreated roads. #inwx
