Whenever a game is created to do the exact same thing another game is doing in order to capture that audience, it always fails, and somehow the industry has not caught onto this yet

The YouTube homepage recommendations do not feel like they are tailored for human beings

Game devs, post your first shipped game and your latest shipped game.

Anybody seen that meme of the commercial with a guy going on a date with a fish but sped up, and Sweet Child O Mine is playing with the caption "The Deep"

My brain can't take it anymore. My face is inches away from the screen analyzing every minute detail of this AD as my brain screams "AI GENERATED AI GENERATED" but ultimately just coming back empty-handed youtu.be/UB83rlMWzVw

Sad to hear that XDefiant is getting discontinued, I actually did enjoy playing it. I'd probably be willing to pay $5 for it, instead of them shutting it down because they didn't want to take away the free-to-play model.

Man I wish Proton Drive had some API or integration with folder syncing apps on Android so I could use it as my cloud storage for my Obsidian vault. It works for Windows, but no native Android support, so I'm stuck with Google Drive until then. xux @proton.me

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Ever think about how YouTube requires you to watch the ads that make them money (unless you pay them directly), but gives you a skip button for in-video ads that their creators need to make money?

Man this is SUCH a character...

Battle Against A True Gearhead

Games where you do the same things over and over again aren't bad if you enjoy doing those things. Doom Eternal is great despite being all combat because the combat is awesome. I actually like the Far Cry games for a similar reason, the missions are repetitive but it's repeating something I enjoy.
