It occurred to me that small children don't really know when to quit, don't really stop themselves from trying things, and somewhere along the line growing, a fear kinda creeps in. A fear of failure. I wanna get back into that baby mindset of being possible of doing anything.

A piece of storytelling advice that I have heard: a story doesn’t need to be realistic, but it should be believable. I.e. if you create rules in your universe, follow them and don’t make a reader feel tricked. Anyway, whoever wrote this season of the United States clearly doesn’t like that rule.
