Email us a question for us to talk about tonight! You have until 9:00 pacific time!! Preferably about the show but honestly if you send me something that makes me laugh so hard I cry, I’ll make Cameron send you a sticker AskObservableRadio@gmail

Friends… I beg of you. We need one more question.

Here’s a fun detail about this story: Exactly one of these incidents occurred to me, exactly as described, on my fourth night of a solo expedition in the Trinity Alps.

An escape into the wilderness of the Appalachian Trail becomes a different kind of nightmare... Our latest, "The Green Tunnel", performed by @raewittevo.bsky.social, is live on all feeds. APPLE: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/s... SPOTIFY: open.spotify.com/episode/3Eqa... TRANSCRIPT

We had a very lovely time at the LA Webfest! We didn’t win in any of our nominated categories, but the show opened with a special award for performances… and our very own Phil “The Observer” van Hest was one of the recipients.

That was the kind of WTF that will keep me out of the woods. Excellent episode!

On edge, heightened senses and raw emotion are displayed in an absorbing episode @observableradio.com - Supplemental Frequency 06: “The Green Tunnel” . Do check the episode out 💜 podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/o...

Welcome to the Hotel Appalachia

One of my favorite types of horror is "Person goes Solo Backpacking and Horror Occurs" and there's a terrible dearth of such stories so I wrote one. Also I didn't know how to describe this when I wrote it but now it's easier: "A24 ass, fuckin babadook/emotional-metaphor type thing."

90 minutes until wide release, but patrons still enjoy a total lack of interruptions demanding their money. (even our silly advertisement appear separately)

When the Noise appears at the Observer’s door, it is “without distinction” to its form. We are delighted to present @slimyswampghost.bsky.social‘s depiction of that moment.

Did you know that Patrons get an early and ad-free feed of the show, as well as supporting the production of our upcoming Second Season? Well, it's true. Anyone who says otherwise is an agent of the enemy. Stay safe out there. Oh, and, our latest episode "The Green Tunnel" is up for all Patrons...

If you haven’t already heard @raewittevo.bsky.social‘s performance in our latest episode, you can hear it Right Now by joining our Patreon, or hold onto your butts until Tuesday, when it goes live.

Folks, it’s that time. We require your questions! Anything you can think to ask of our production crew, we’ll answer it on our next Carrier Wave recording. (also I will mail you a free sticker)

Sometimes I remember that other artists made art after hearing our art and I am so full of art, my art is bursting, ow, right in the art! Shot through the art.

Beloved for his comedy, George Wendt was also a genre favorite in films like HOUSE, KING OF THE ANTS and VFW. Rest in Peace.

They're literally trying to keep people from getting the COVID vaccine. Commenting here is an easy and quick way to push back.

@observableradio.com episode 3 looking real unsettlingly prescient rn pca.st/episode/3407...

One of the great things about #audiodrama is that it's a community that welcomes others trying to get in. So as a way to give back, does anyone have any questions about creating and making an audio drama? #ama

Apologies for the radio silence, but the clarity of the transmission waxes and wanes. Of note, we just received our 100th review on Apple podcasts and our 200th on Spotify! We are so very grateful for all of you who took the time to share your enthusiasm.

No, it’s not in any of our episodes, I said it was a good idea.

You’ve heard me be a horrible demon on @observableradio.com but I’ve got the range to be a cute lil marimo too!

This was our original stated intent. Giving your brother-in-law, specifically, nightmares.

just started listening to @observableradio.com bc of an ad on rude tales or skulltenders and man is it my jam you should listen to it! it is very good and unsettling!

We had a real hoot at the LA Web Fest this week where we got to meet lots of lovely people in audio drama, and creators from around the world. We will have more to say about it later but right now we are very tired.

We have a new standalone story for you, read by our own Phil van Hest. “Shiva” is a ghost story in seven parts, and seven conversations about what lies beyond.

Started listening to @observableradio.com finally and the way I whipped my head around
