I think this is my last #screenshotsaturday before GDC, here's a little preview of the Character Movement and Exploration we've been working on in Moonstone! Science Fantasy Third-Person Action RPG where you and your party fight against a hostile technological occupation. #gamedev #indiegame #ue5

I don't know what it is, but Overworlds continue to be ridiculously charming to me as a loop in games.

I'll be at #GDC 2025! Bringing along a killer little Action RPG Prototype, we're not quite ready to pitch yet, but would love to chat informally with any Publishers in that space. Any other ARPG #GameDev headed to GDC that wanna meet? Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones!

I took a hard fall on Friday that really messed me up. Went from vertical to on the floor like a sack of bricks. This has led me to be unable to sleep for a few days, and thru this sleep deprivation I have concocted the most deranged idea for a game pitch that I am going to subject my coworkers to.

Ludum Dare is one of the biggest pipelines for new developers entering the industry, it certainly was for me. There should be a groundswell of support from studios to keep this going if they want to avoid a collapse of new talent entering the industry.

I don't know who on the Abiotic Factor team needs to hear this but I have two words for you guys: Elevator Mimics. That is all.

This misses a major difference between Film and Games, which is that often at the end of a production we might not own the technology used to make the game. It's like if we had to reinvent the camera every time we shot a movie.
