Kicked the tires a third time on #silverbayonet today. We added an extra wood at the back of the shrine to close down the LOS a little more. The mechanics are solid, the game is atmospheric and the opponent chilled. A solid combination.

Some Warhammer 40,000 mayhem with Ciarán earlier. My tide of Orks swarmed over the objectives and into the Necrons. Their reanimation shenanigans held the Orks at bay. Warboss Gorklaw was laid low by Zan-tep the Cruel, Ciarán’s Hexmark Destroyer. The Orks claimed victory in the end!

Excellent game of Battlegroup with my 13yo son earlier. It’s an great ruleset: a nice balance of historic flavour and a fun gaming experience. Today’s game was a Platoon level game (400pts) representing combat in Normandy around the time of Operation Cobra.

Great Battle of the Bulge game set near Clervaux on the 17th Recember ‘44 against @stiubhart.bsky.social last night. The Americans put up a dogged defence stalling the advance of von Böhm’s reconnaissance kampfgruppe. Suppressing key units was the secret to the American success. #battlegroup
