I am once again begging people to realize that the law is words on paper and is not self executing. "That's illegal" is not and has never been synonymous with "that's impossible" or "that can't be done." "That's illegal" means "you might get in trouble for that depending on who you are."

Whenever you read another dev's success strategy, your thought should not be "I need to do this too," but rather, "Can I adapt this to my specific situation/scenario?" It's really easy to get caught up in thinking you can replicate success 1:1 instead of remembering all the unique factors at play.

Yeah man SCOTUS ruled in 2022 Shinn v. Ramirez that actual innocence is secondary to procedural concerns, we've become inured to the idea that it's acceptable for people to be tortured in jails and prisons, all predicated on the idea that criminality is something that's inherent, not just made up.

I assure you I've worked with way more under qualified men who got the job because they are drinking buddies with, is related to, or some how connected to someone in charge than under qualified women. Most women have to work twice as hard to get half the credit and have to fight for opportunities.

After messing about for a bit I was able to get it working! It's one reflection probe and a ring buffer of 3 RenderTexture cubemaps. Update one and lerp between the other two. The lerp needs to happen in the shaders, so we're back to custom lighting... #gamedev #indiegame #unity3d
