I just watched a movie called “The Monkey.” I didn’t really know what it was about other than some kind of horror dark comedy. Boy did I have a good time with that movie. I laughed my ass off.

We just watched the movie Tombstone. I had never seen it before. I have to say, that was an interesting movie. I also have to say that Val Kilmer was absolutely phenomenal in that role.

Rayden and I just finished the first Borderlands game. We had a lot of fun and will tackle a few of the DLC packs now before we move on to Borderlands 2. I can’t wait to show off my fully decked out Gaige in Borderlands 2. He’s gonna flip.

The kid and I are working through his first play through of Borderlands 1. He is having a blast playing as Lilith. He also likes to loot everything so we spend a lot of time at the shops.

Started up Borderlands 3 out of boredom. The kid might want to play with me so if he does we are going to start with 1 and work our way through. That said, this game sure looks nice in HDR. I am really enjoying my new monitor.

We just watched the original Tron movie. I had never seen it before, so that was a lot of fun. I actually really liked the old effects. I thought they looked really cool.

The kid passed his driving test and is now apparently a licensed driver. Really proud of him but scared for the world haha.

Well, the kid is off to take his driving test for his license. Bryce and I have done our best to prepare him for this, so here’s hoping he can pass. Also if you live around here, maybe stay off the roads. lol

I have not been out this late in a very long time, but the Linkin Park concert was an absolute blast. It’s been a while since I have had such an assault on my senses and I loved it. Glad to know I can still do these kinds of things.

Mia is the most chill dog going to the vet. I’m pretty sure the people have never seen a Shiba Inu this well behaved. The other two Shibas we bring them make up for that with their horrible behavior though.

Picked up Avowed and have been really sinking my teeth into it. The story is taking some interesting turns and I am very much invested I think. I also have to say that the art style is absolutely stunning. I love exploring, especially at night when everything is all glowy.

I went ahead and picked up RuneScape: Dragonwilds in early access. I have to say, I am rather enjoying myself. I am not super far in, but I am glad I bought it. I think the husband and I will create a world together and explore.

My dad surprised me with this grill as a Christmas present a few years back. I hope he understood how much I just love this thing. I use it all the time if the weather allows. Tonight I am making a Bacon wrapped BBQ Chicken with some sharp cheddar sprinkled on top. It’s looking super good!

Today’s impulse buy (Thanks Bryce for the encouragement) was a new monitor. I didn’t think it would be that huge of an upgrade from my current ultrawide monitor, but I am blown away by the difference. Even games that don’t have HDR just look fantastic with the OLED. I am a happy man.

Thought I would check out some new music. I have tried another of their albums and it didn’t click, but I think I’m enjoying this one. It’s an odd mix of styles so far, but that’s not bad. This is currently the best song on the album though.
