Today we celebrate World Day of #SocialJustice. In a time when rights are being stripped away and identities are under attack, we fight for a world where justice isn’t selective — where dignity and fairness lift all.

On this day in 1942, Executive Order 9066 led to the forced incarceration of over 120,000 Japanese Americans. It was truly one of the darkest chapters of our history, one we must never repeat.

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Toni Morrison, born on this day in 1931. Her words continue to uplift, challenge, and inspire generations.

Proud to join Stephen & Ayesha Curry and @thenba.space in honoring dad’s legacy during #AllStarGame2025 weekend. Let’s continue to #RealizeTheDream through service and unity!

Discover a new pathway to a fulfilled life. Belonging, purpose, and love are key ingredients for a life that matters.

On this day in 1920, Rube Foster’s vision gave birth to the Negro National League, forever changing the landscape of Black baseball. From the Baltimore Black Sox to the Memphis Red Sox, the Negro Leagues launched unforgettable names and moments. #BlackHistoryMonth

Founded #OnThisDay in 1909, the NAACP emerged as a force for justice, led by visionaries like W.E.B. Du Bois, Ida B. Wells, and Mary Church Terrell. Their fight against racial violence helped shape the civil rights movement as we know it today. #BlackHistory

On this day in 1990, Nelson Mandela walked free after 27 years in prison. His first words to the world: A call for peace, democracy, and freedom. Today, his legacy reminds us that the fight for justice is never over.

On this International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we honor the trailblazers who’ve made history and the next generation just getting started. Keep pushing, keep dreaming, and keep leading! #WomenInScience #GirlsInSTEM

The Beloved Community thrives when we commit to action, stand for justice, serve our neighbors, and bridge divides.

While preparing for the Poor People’s Campaign, my father addressed the SCLC with his speech, “In Search for a Sense of Direction.” His reflections on the movement remind us that justice requires not only courage but a clear vision for change.

Today, on #NBHAAD, we recognize the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS in Black communities. Now more than ever, let’s amplify access to care, prioritize education, fight stigma, and ensure equity in health outcomes.

I have thought more about legacy than most. My father left an enormous one, and so did my mother. For years, I wrestled with how to emerge from their vast shadow until I realized their legacy was never meant to be a shadow on my path but to illuminate it.

I’m proud to share our Living Legacy framework, a guide to creating purpose through daily actions. With contributions from inspiring voices like Simon Sinek and Julia Roberts, it’s a call to build a more connected, loving world.

#OTD, Dad delivered his sermon “Who Are We,” and reminded us that humanity is both good and bad, a blend of miracle and mystery. But we have a choice. Embrace the good, reject the hate, and strive for justice and love -- always.

Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Rosa Parks. Her courage lit the spark for the Montgomery Bus Boycott, changing history forever. May her legacy guide us in the continued pursuit of justice.

#OTD in 1870, the 15th Amendment was ratified, granting Black men the right to vote. More than 150 years later, the forces of bigotry and oppression are determined to push us back in time.

What if you lived your legacy today? Our book is a call to action for the nation to reflect on how we can embody service, justice, and love in our daily lives. The time to act is now.

Together, as sisters and brothers, let’s put my father's lessons into action. Let's build the #BelovedCommunity and realize the dream of peace and goodwill for all.

It was a pleasure speaking at Binghamton University and engaging with such passionate students and faculty during our fireside chat this Wednesday. Thank you for the warm welcome and the opportunity to connect with the next generation of change-makers.

My father was a target of COINTELPRO, an illegal FBI operation aimed at silencing civil rights leaders. The potential return of such abuses under Kash Patel’s leadership is deeply concerning (to put it mildly). We cannot allow history to repeat itself.

Our hearts break for the families of those lost in yesterday's horrific aviation accident in DC. @arndreaking.bsky.social and I pray for comfort, strength, and healing for all affected by this unimaginable tragedy.

Now more than ever, I am dedicated to being about my father’s business and I encourage all people of good will to be about the business of Peace, Justice, Love, and Equity.

My father would be quite disappointed with where we are today, but he wouldn't be surprised. We must work to heal the deep divisions in our nation and bring the best of who we are to every moment.

I am so proud of my daughter, Yolanda. She never met her grandparents, but she embodies their legacy. Her book, We Dream a World, is a message of hope for the next generation, a testament to the power of dreams and love.

🧧🐍Wishing a joyful Lunar New Year to all who celebrate! May this year bring health, prosperity, and happiness.

Thank you, Essence, for sharing our story. My father's legacy is a call to action to carry his Dream further daily. Our Realize the Dream initiative aims for 100 million hours of service by 2029.

On this International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we reflect on the atrocities & mourn the over 6 million Jews, Romani, LGBTQ, and marginalized lives lost. As symbols of Nazism & antisemitism rise, we must remain vigilant, educate future generations, and stand united against hate.

In times of division, we must turn to each other—not on each other. We don’t have the luxury of giving up. The path forward is through service, building community, and uniting this nation.

Leadership means taking action to protect our kids and communities. Governor Evers is showing that courage. Let’s keep pushing for meaningful change to end gun violence.

Living a life of purpose starts with asking the right question: What is my legacy? @arndreaking.bsky.social, the Kielburgers & I explore how we can shape a new path toward peace, justice & equity. Learn more ⬇️ mylegacy.com/books

Our statement on President Trump’s executive order declassifying our father’s assassination files:

Dad fought to eradicate the triple evils: poverty, racism, and violence. We've made progress, but the journey continues before we realize his Dream. With 'Realize the Dream,' we're calling for 100 million hours of service by his 100th birthday.

Legacy isn’t about a name—it’s about action. As we face a period of incivility, we must choose a better path.

Every MLK Day, I reflect on my father’s Dream of justice, freedom, unity, and peace. Today, that vision feels fragile, but his message of infinite hope endures. As my mother said, "Freedom is never really won." Let’s honor them and commit to building a world rooted in love.
