This!! Yes, I hope with time they will improve the way exercise is captured, like you say - we’re not going anywhere and heart rate not going up! (Unless it’s a tubular bind off, and I mess it up- the stress!)

Good question - I usually just knit it to the pre blocked size, but it could of course be interpreted the other way. I would say it’s a judgement call for you based on what bit of the pattern you are knitting & what impact pre vs post block length would have on the design. Not very helpful, sorry!!

Further info - the designer is Meg Swansen, and the magazine says “Meg Swansen’s masks are perfect blank canvases for any weirdness you can imagine knitting.”
