reading the Steam reviews for Avowed is a solid reminder of why i do not give a shit about the opinions of internet randos "the game should have a theft system!!!" your desires are utterly alien & incomprehensible to me "i don't like guns in my fantasy RPGs" what are you TALKING ABOUT

I think this kind a mixes up cause and effect. We live in a system where the majority of people who can end up bored and comfortable are predisposed to being fascists.

Tonight has marked the finale of an over 3 year long (91) session Exalted vs World of Darkness Chronicle I've been running. What a wild and weird journey it was. They started with uncovering a Setite conspiracy and fighting a coin Kaiju in the streets of Marsaille and ended up as gods of a new,

Putting aside that GRRM's comment on Aragorn's tax policy wasn't an attack, and that the point wasn't nearly as literal as this person is taking it, tax policy is a huge factor in both ASoIaF and Fire and Blood.

Playing Avowed and seeing critiques that unfavourably compare it to Skyrim and BG3 has me thinking that a lot of people have a strong preference for quantity over quality because I really prefer the gameplay and think the narrative and themes are way more interesting than either of those two.

Think I'm getting there with this Trench Crusade colour scheme.

Finished off my Knights of Avarice warband for Trench Crusade with kitbashed priest and anointed. Probably way over committing to the bit at only 5 models for 700 ducats but they look cool.

I've started getting into digital kitbashing for Trench Crusade. Here's a Knights of Avarice Heretic Legion warband. The heretic priest and anointed were a lot of fun to put together.

one lesson from this should be that leveling mountains of praise on an author or creator, rather than their work, is risky and potentially toxic. Worth noting that the article starts by discussing the way fans used to throw themselves at Neil. His degeneration wasn't just from internal factors.
