If I am using precuts and cutting from yardage.... should I not prewash the fabric? I read it's not a good idea to wash precuts. I have such paralysis in starting this quilt. #beginnerquilter #quiltsky

Jerrica checks out the in progress renovation of the Barbie Dream Cottage for use as a Jem and the Holograms crash pad. However, the 1 inch height difference with Barbie and the band's tendency to wear heels means that they would be mostly confined to the roof, which is currently used by Darci.

I followed a tutorial from Chelsea at She Sews Seams to make this duffel. She sews together Dollar Tree dish Matt's. I figured out how to use this pre quilted material that was gifted to me on my local Buy Nothing group. Learning to sew is like growing your own super power. Cost...well under $5.

This weekend I thrifted a Dream Cottage in rough shape with missing pieces, but I am thrilled. I know the appearance will be much improved simply by repainting the white, white. Post covers are so brittle one already broke during transport. 😓#thriftsky #barbie #dollsky #thrifting #thrift
