Prescription charges in England are being frozen. It is the first time on 3 years the price has not risen. It is estimated to save people around £18m compared to if prices had risen by a similar amount to previous years. 1/2

45 years ago today I started work in that there London. It was the Civil service and I was thrilled to find out there was a bar in the basement 🍻, Happy days. St. Giles Court is much missed (by me anyway). They told me I'd probably retire at 60 with a massive pension...they lied.
