This is like Senators asking for Trump to release funding for their pet projects. When you campaigned for a personalist presidency you have turned yourself into a beggar seeking the King’s favor rather than a citizen who can be confident of equal treatment for all.

The University Library I worked in as a student was a government document depository. One summer I worked there preparing it for an inspection. The government periodically verified you were making the materials they sent for free freely available. Maybe we need something like that again.

Years ago, after the Cambridge Analytica scandal, I interviewed a former fb employee, and I remember her continually emphasizing that these tech bros weren't evil geniuses, but were, in fact, dangerous because they were utterly clueless, totally reckless, and had too much power.

I'm old and still there is so much I do not know. Is it typical that when you call your US Representative's office they can't tell you how the Representative is planning to vote on an upcoming bill? Is leaving a voice mail equivalent to connecting in person?
