Recently, we welcomed a group of stained glass enthusiasts to the Wren, who were treated to a rare peek at the full-scale cartoon of the painted south window. The window was designed by Giovanni Battista Cipriani and was completed in 1775, 80 years after the Library’s initial opening. 🪟🎨
