On NBC’s Meet the Press Trump stated he ran his campaign on the promise of lowering grocery prices and in the same paragraph said he’s making no guarantees that he can lower them (LOL - we know, dumbass). He also doubled down and said he doesn’t believe tariffs will raise prices for Americans. 🙄
