I have to come here to just get out my anger and frustration at the state the US has turned into on the global stage in such a short space of time. Anyone believing Trump does not seem to care about facts. This man is destroying the US and fast and I just don't even know what can be done

I couldn't tell you if the rise of the far right on twitter expanded since Musk bought it or if it is more that it is now being promoted more and the more outrageous a comment the more replies and thus more money. But reasonable people seem to have been left behind. It's a town square for hate now

Joined blue sky just now because @alastaircampbell2.bsky.social posted he's moved over here. Haven't moved just because of him, but I wasn't aware that @bsky.app existed and was getting fed up with the cesspool that my twitter fees had become.
