Mint sauce is a very underrated condiment, and should be released from the prison of the one roast it is confined to.

Ladies and gentleman. This is great. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDxY...

I knew about Ezra Klein and followed him on and off since seeing him on the news during the 2012 London Olympics. I thought that was a weird time. This video, which I know is highly produced, feels like the kind of voice we need right now. Measured & Understood. www.youtube.com/watch?v=b6yu...

Hey did you enjoy the non-news today?! Well here's some real news. @sliwinski.bsky.social has new game called Seigecaster. It looks like it's going to be the tower defence game we all need right now. Go wishlist and Seige The Day (or evening)! store.steampowered.com/app/3138350/...

Well it took me entirely too long but I think The Lost Crown was my game of the year. Some perfectly executed gameplay and story beats. First game I beat end to end on GeForce Now too, which has very much changed how I’ll be handling my console purchases going forward.

I feel like this needs more fireworks as a post. I'll be jamming all afternoon.

Work in audio long enough and you too can Macguyver a weird Frankenstein set up good enough for voiceover.... purely from your stuff drawer. (Ex podcast studio hardware is still in storage after my move)

Having a fun adventure after forgetting to defrost the chicken stock.

It took 6 months of cool down after losing my Playstation save on Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown to jump back in again. I'll say they do have me with being able to play through with 08 skin though. Love this look (and that game).

One of my favourite composers Tony Anderson just put out a Logic project breakdown of Nocturne in Paris (probably his best track). It is a wonderful audio deep dive you don't usually get to see. www.youtube.com/watch?v=o__W...

Just realised that it's been over 10 years since we had a film compliation video like Gen IP or Cornelis van Dijkhuizen's work. I know they are on to bigger and better things, but it was such a lovely tribute to the work done.. I think we need that now. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0cs...

It’s probably nostalgia goggles but I really did enjoy the first episode of Dexter: Original Sin. The back to basics format works for me and it’s nice to hang out with old characters.

You can tell it's been a bit of a hard year when it seems like a lot of new games are night-this and dark-land. Think we all need a bit of a break and probably a nap..

So is Skeleton Crew just Pirates of the Caribbean in space? If so, I'm good, this works.

Was Van Helsing actually the starts of the Universal Monster Universe?

I might be being daft.... Youtube Watch Later is a huge help for me in collecting videos, but also just getting Youtube to bring something back. But. Cleaning out my Watch Later has now become a monthly ritual of clicking dots and then remove around 300 times. There's got to be a better way?

I've been a bit burnt out on Star Wars shows lately. Despite wanting to like Ashoka and The Acolyte, they just didn't click for me. I'm going to give Skeleton Crew a whirl since it sounds like something different.

I know we have all kinds of crazy and problematic uses of AI, but if they could just build something that says 'just buy these jeans, Ollie,' that would be great. It's always a headache.

Can we just take a moment to acknowledge what a ridiculous lineup of artists makes up this soundtrack? I actually don't think there could be a better equation for me.

Caught Saturday Night, funnily enough, last night. Really worth a watch if you are an SNL fan. But by the stand out was the soundtrack. If you are a sucker for the intro and credits music like me, this is oxygen: open.spotify.com/album/2U0xxg...

I was going to jump back in to Prince of Persia Lost Crown today, but I've lost my save from my Playstation and retreading feels like it still needs a couple of months. So I guess we're going for the "good" ending of Dragon Age.

@kanaratron.bsky.social Bit of a niche question but will Mythwrecked be opted in to Geforce Now? On the fence on what platform to pick it up on.

Last year I went to Sri Lanka for Christmas. And one night staying at a little lodge in the middle of nowhere, the lodge owner explained that peacocks all have their own perches they go back to every night. I really think there's a cozy, sunset based game in there somewhere.

I've been on the verge of picking up a Shadow PC for months. I used to run remote development on a PC, and I really need something similar for on the go. I just wish their were options... it seems Microsoft have abandoned the Game Dev VM which seemed like a viable option.

Finished something great this week in Unreal? Or trying to drum up some wishlists? Send them my way and I'll have them in the Outpost on Saturday.

@danielmgauthier.bsky.social Hello! Just a quick one. I've been using Up Ahead as part of bipolar therapy. I was wondering whether I might be able to share some of my story and how it works with you? Could you drop me a DM?

I love Up Ahead. Got in on the Testflight and it's been a staple on my home screen. If you're looking for a lovely, lovely marker for things coming up, drop them a follow and a download. Pro tip if you are someone who deals with depression this is great for having markers. Saved me a few times.

This is a tale of two Apple TV Remotes. The one on the left has USB-C, stays charged for longer but the directional buttons work maybe 2/3rds of the time. The one on the right is the sole Lightning port in my house, dies in a week, but works perfectly. Choose your slightly irritating fighter.
