This place is so far a lot nicer than the old one but at the same time I'm strangely worried it's too nice. There was a certain ratio of acid to sugar that Twitter managed at its best before the ratio shifted to toxic insanity. Here I'm slightly worried that it's just a tad cosy.

Reading Follett’s World Without End and it’s almost shocking this wasn’t written in the aftermath of COVID - debates over face coverings, questions of lockdown and whether religious services would be exempt, and just the sheer amount of misinformation and fear. And just a tonne of death.
