Here’s a thought I just had: In the US we tend to fuck around and find out. But in Europe, they exercise the precautionary principle, meaning they take the time to find out before they fuck around

Lately, I find myself wondering what people think the purpose of government is. It’s not to be annoying with taxes and regulations. It’s to protect and serve its people. To provide what people can’t for themselves or what businesses won’t because it’s not profitable.

I know I don’t know basketball like I know football, but these penalties are especially baffling tonight. Florida player had a sick block and got a foul for it? Another Florida player came down with the ball and fell and got a travel. Commentators were also confused.

It’s never been as State o’Clock as it was this weekend. IPA championships on Saturday with my students, landed in a solid third place in PSA. Went to OIPA championships today to be a spectator for the first time after marching in the circuit for 11 years.
