I use #Duolingo intermittently and the gamification actually makes the whole process more tedious, because every lesson needs me to sit through several animations showing the different imaginary points/rewards my success earned and if you X out it warns it will void the entire lesson.

The one stock photo category that's a pain in the ass to find is fully clothed women lightly dominating mostly clothed or clothed men. For cover art there's lots of F/m coded couples but most of them put her in bra and panties or just a shirt... and most places that sell books don't like that.
