Continuing to confound my YouTube recommendations with my interests: Rimworld, Sims, warfare analytics, fiber arts and mid-century Italian film soundtracks. It is having a hard time deciding which pipeline to send me into.

My Rope Bottoms' Guide to Nerve Glides is now available in my online shop 🥳 www.patreon.com/posts/nerve-...

Silver has committed himself to make me breakfast every morning, an act made all the more selfless because he has one of those meds that require you to wait an hour after taking to eat so often I am getting eggs and bacon and he is getting a banana and a protein shake and hour later.

I use #Duolingo intermittently and the gamification actually makes the whole process more tedious, because every lesson needs me to sit through several animations showing the different imaginary points/rewards my success earned and if you X out it warns it will void the entire lesson.

just a not so friendly reminder that paying for porn is a luxury service!! if you try to make a SWer feel bad or shameful for just wanting to get PAID for our work!! You are scum!! a disgusting and horrible person!! This is our JOB!! Not a hobby!! we shouldn’t have to explain ourselves!!

I've updated my linktree with Canadian resources for our American friends.

Sabaton and mopping. 🎶 Carolus Reeeeeex 🎶 I was chosen by heaven say my name when you pray 🎶

I really struggle with what to do with all the solicited reviews where I didn't like something. What is the etiquette, and how do you not sound like a jerk if you get an ARC and you don't want to negatively review it, but it would be dishonest to be glowingly positive?

A little bit about avoiding ridgid thought traps around rules versus critical thinking. https://buff.ly/3Eyrdaa

The one stock photo category that's a pain in the ass to find is fully clothed women lightly dominating mostly clothed or clothed men. For cover art there's lots of F/m coded couples but most of them put her in bra and panties or just a shirt... and most places that sell books don't like that.

Things sex ed does not cover: Carpeting the whole dungeon room with every bed sheet you can find, because you are wearing latex and thus everything you walk or sit on leaves a little silicone lube behind. @thecrowsnestescape.bsky.social does indeed have enough sheets to do that.

Things I have a *thing* for (incomplete list): Elves, bondage, stockings/garters, male vulnerability & suffering, larger insertions, gladiatorial combat, owner/property, mind control & puppeting (particularly when they know they are locked in as you command),formal dress, historical costuming...

Yes, they have lovingly illustrated femdom (including F/m) and were taking a chance on creating omni-gaze friendly femdom when everyone else was still saying you couldn't sell it to anyone but dudes.

I absolutely do not understand why authors **who would not want to have their work sorted with millions of copycat AI slop books** continue to use AI images for their covers and marketing. Your work looks like cheap trash, and you look like you think visual artists can go fuck themselves.

Les Pommes, a typically tasteful picture from Jan Frans de Boever (1872-1949) Wikipedia: "From 1909 onwards, he modified his style radically, painting women and prostitutes in morbid and bizarre settings, with skeletons, diabolism, subservient men and eroticism dominating his paintings." #LesBelges

This is why is is absolutely essential to donate, as services and non-profits that do not bend the knee are uniquely vulnerable.

It's apparently female supremacy week over in the femdom group, again, so we get such oxymorons as people imagining that we should live under an "egalitarian matriarchy". Honestly people are so hung up on classic sexism that anything that isn't male supremacy is treated like women are in charge.

This is a tough time for funding sex ed, particularly queer positive and accessible education in a space made safe for minors. Your vote can make all the difference for getting this non-profit funding.

I need to remember to hobble my sub during play because if you don't keep him hooded or tied to something during play and something is missing (a toy, a glass of water) he will bolt off to go fetch it.

If you're an artist and don't have an account at Pixsy, sign up for a free one. You can monitor up to 500 images/artworks for free across the web with this tool. It's both depressing and helpful for discovering unauthorized use of your works (and getting paid for it)

Silver has survived his Valentine's Time @thecrowsnestescape.bsky.social and tested all the furniture except the kneeling bench thing.

Blood donated, now there's a bag of me floating around Washington. Hopefully it goes to good use (or is miraculously not needed). If you are feeling small, angry and powerless right now you can either donate or help someone donate, and get a literal cookie.

Donating blood, answering the million screening questions including the ones that are alarming like if I have been in a detention facility for a certain amount of time. 😐

If you are a writer and looking at depressed sales, there's a slump in retail purchases in general in the US market right now, you aren't doing anything wrong.

"Stop romanticizing toxic tropes in fiction" Bro literally never heard of 'Romanticism' (1790 - c. 1850) and how it's a deliberate rejection of order, harmony, balance, and rationality and celebrates the irrational, personal, emotional, weird, occult, and monstrous by design, how embarrassing 😞

Pretty little earrings from Valentine's Day. We had a dungeon date at the Crows Nest. (He also got me the new D&D manuals.)

A trope I love and a trope i hate 💘 Useful subs, vulnerable and human doms ✖️ Sad sack subs who just aren't enough for their dominant as partners. Why is she wasting perfectly good kink on a parasite?!

One of my favorite things is seeing professional dommes share how someone appreciated them on Valentine's Day. Go appreciate your provider. I will enjoy it. 😻

I am baby leagues. I had a bit shy of 5k Twitter people. I have 1.1k here. The level of engagement has not changed. You can delete Twitter.

Translating random sub guys on Reddit asking how to make their wife Domme them: "I am very submissive" = "I have a specific fetish list I am into that makes me feel vulnerable in a good horny way." "My wife is very submissive." = "She doesn't initiate sex much or pursue sexual novelty."

Watching some sort of drama go down in one of the earnest discourse pockets of blusky and hopping everyone is ok. It's hard when you care deeply about something that requires analysis to articulate your experience with a thing, but is also deeply personal to people with a varied experience.
