If VA clinicians have to be doctor, nurse, scheduler, pharmacist, janitor, and technician in addition to caring for patients, VA healthcare will die a slow death. And that will feed veterans into to a private healthcare system greedy for government money but unable to provide the care they need.

We are barely allowed to hire anyone, basically just requests to backfill critical positions and slam dunks (veterans, current federal employees) are declining because of fear of being probationary and losing their new jobs at the whim of some idiot. Heartbreaking for veteran care.

Being forced to listen to Trump during his first cabinet “meeting” as I am visiting my dad in rehab. Trump just spews nonsense. It is really quite amazing to watch, in contrast to other people who speak in actual sentences. Ridiculous sentences, but at least in normal English language.
