Meghan Curran's client was charged with grievous bodily harm following an incident that took place in 2022. Meghan successfully raised self-defence, and the jury unanimously acquitted her client after less than an hour of deliberation.

Kitan Ososami spoke at a recent event, hosted by Women In Criminal Law's Racial Equality Committee. The panel highlighted the unique experiences of junior solicitors and barristers, offering insights into their pathways to qualification and their early years in practice.

Margo M. acted in an appeal against conviction for a child convicted of sexually assaulting a woman on the tube. The appeal was allowed with the judge commenting that the evidence given by a witness police officer had been shown under cross-examination to be unlikely in all the circumstances.

Geeta Koska succeeds in quashing homeless decision. The underlying issue in the appeal was the appellant's ability to navigate 15 steps to his property in light of his medical conditions which restricted his mobility, rendering him "homeless" as defined under the Housing Act 1996, s.175(3)
